Smokin' Dave's is a legendary and award-winning BBQ concept here in Northern Colorado! The first location opened in 2007 and they've been growing ever since! There are now 4 locations: Denver, Longmont, Lyons, & Estes Park. All the locations are somewhat the same with a few differences in the menu and what they offer (catering, party rooms, etc).
Founded by Dave himself, Smokin' Daves BBQ & Brew originally opened in 2007 in Estes Park, Colorado. Now, we have four locations across the state: Estes Park, Lyons, Longmont, Denver Colorado. Each BBQ restaurant hosts its own rotating lineup of draft beers for you to choose from alongside our award-winning barbecue. We've also hosted several events throughout the state.
When you visit our BBQ restaurant, you'll notice one of the secrets to our success is the sauce. Our BBQ sauce is signature, and lucky for you, it's available at every location we have. The Man Behind the BBQ - SMOKIN' DAVE IS A LOS ANGELES NATIVE WITH THE SOUL OF A SOUTHERN PIT MASTER: Smokin' Dave wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth! He grew up in the wild suburbs of Los Angeles, subjected to countless mediocre dining experiences at allegedly hip and trendy chain restaurants. Dave discovered the joys of creating unique dishes in his grandparent's kitchen. Myer and Madeline Leven gave Dave the love and dedication required to be the best at his craft. For over 30 years, he has been owner/chef at several unique restaurants on Maui, Hawaii and in Estes Park, Lyons, Longmont, and Denver CO. When he's not running the best BBQ restaurants in Northern Colorado, he and his wife Cat, enjoy off-roading and restoring their classic cars.
